Museums, churches, galleries, rooms and the Art Stations will remain open longer thanks to the Napoli Museo Aperto project!
Naples is one of the Italian cities with the most rich and varied historical-artistic heritage, fruit of the many populations that have contributed to creating it over the millennia. A heritage that must be protected and valued continuously, thanks above all to the many projects developed by the Municipality or associations.
One of the new initiatives of the Municipality, in fact, is that of "Naples Museum Open"Which will start a mid-February 2016 and that will work well 247 young people of our city in the enhancement of our museums, churches and beautiful Art Stations that they can stay open longer during the day.
The Naples Open Museum project
The initiative, as mentioned, involves 247 Neapolitan boys from the 18 29 years enrolled in employment centers (former placement), with the qualification of Tourist Guide or graduates in Languages o Cultural heritage, to be trained to allow him to work as , interpreters, translators in museums, churches and art stations of the Naples underground. In total, they will be involved 30 cultural places e 10 stations.
They will be financed by the Youth Guarantee project with a monthly salary and the purpose of the initiative is to allow them to accrue an effective Experience in the field. where they will be able to interact with visitors, citizens and tourists in museums, galleries, chapter rooms, refectories.
Furthermore, with the project we also want to implement theopening new facilities and it will probably also be applied to Parks and Gardens, car parking and urban decoration.
Extended openings and guided tours
By exploiting the presence and skills of young people, the structures will be able to remain open many more hours. The project, in fact, plans to extend the openings until the evening. The times will be from 8.00 am to 20.00 pm about, from Monday to Saturday for almost all the structures. Only the Maschio Angioino will also be open on Sundays.
The young people who will be employed will also have the possibility, through calls, to design forms of associated work, form art cooperatives and work in the world of culture and tourism. This possibility will be financed by the revenues that will come from guided tours provided in the facilities, which will be charged for those who want to use them. The simple entry will, however, be free.
