An evening to remember Massimo Troisi between testimonies, music and projections in the Basilica of San Domenico Maggiore
To commemorate the twenty years since the death of Massimo Troisi, which took place on 4 June 1994, the Municipality of Naples and the Department of Culture organized one evening of commemoration at the monumental complex of San Domenico Maggiore that will be held next 10 June 2014.
During the event, friends, colleagues and artists will share with the spectators testimonies and memories related to the life of the late Neapolitan actor and director. From the 20 24 they will alternate Rosaria Troisi, Giorgio Verdelli, Enzo Decaro and Lello Espositor, with musical accompaniment of James Senese and Enzo Gragnaniello.
Parts of Giorgio Verdelli's documentary will also be screened We just have to stay with Massimo, aired on Rai Due in the program only, and the evening will end with the screening of the film Che non ci remained piangere, one of the most famous of Massimo Troisi, which he wrote, directed and performed together with Roberto Benigni in 1994.
The evening will be held in conjunction with the inauguration of the exhibition on Leonardo's Machines inside An impossible exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Municipality and the Pietrasanta Cultural Center Association.
