The Magna Graecia Flute Choir orchestra composed of young flautists

The Christmas concert of San Gregorio Armeno will be played by the Magna Graecia Flute Choir accompanied by a soprano and a tenor

The area of San Gregorio Armeno it is perhaps the symbolic street of Christmas in Naples and every year there are many surprises in store for us. In fact, in addition to the numerous shops, famous all over the world, which sell handmade nativity scenes and shepherds, it will also be possible to participate in other themed events organized throughout the area.

Among these, there is the interesting Christmas concert which will be organized inside the San Lorenzo Maggiore Church, at Via dei Tribunali. It is a classical music concert, correlated with the possibility of trying some fine flutes.

The event will take place on Boxing Day, the 26 December 2013, in the evening. The orchestra's staff, the Magna Graecia Flute Choir, will mainly consist of flutes, played by very young elements who have established themselves above all in the Calabrian scene

They are accompanied by percussion and a glockenspiel (a German instrument similar to the vibraphone) and conducted by Maestro Sebastiano Valentino. The voices will be those of soprano Maria Grazia Cucinotta and of the tenor Antonino Giacobbe.

As previously mentioned, before and after the show it will be possible to try the flutes made available by the sponsor Flauti Briccialdi Italia, to immerse yourself with more involvement in the atmosphere created by the concert.
