Coronavirus emergency: strict controls with drones and checkpoints will arrive for the 2020 Christmas holidays!
After the release of the latest decree issued by the Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, in the fight against Coronavirus, the Interior Ministry announces that for the Christmas and New Year 2020 will controls intensified, so that everyone respects the rules.
In particular, there will be strict controls in second homes, will be used drones to avoid possible gatherings e checkpoints in stations and highways, just like during the first lockdown of March 2020, in an attempt to avert a third wave of infections.
Checks in second homes and checkpoints
Police checks at the second homes that the decree of 4 December 2020 prohibits reaching. Highly technological devices will be used such as for example drones to constantly monitor the situation and keep under control possible gatherings.
There will be checkpoints on motorways and main arteries, at airports and on railways, especially on days 19, 20, 23, 24 and 31 December. Maximum control also to avoid the balls with controls in the cities and probably the closure of squares and streets.
