The director Antonio Latella will conduct Christmas at the Cupiello house at the Teatro San Ferdinando in Naples.
Il director Antonio Latella will bring on stage at San Ferdinando Theater of Naples the tragicomic comedy "Christmas in the Cupiello house”Written by the great Eduardo de Filippo in 1931.
From 16 to 27 November 2016 Latella, winner of the award for best director at "The Masks of the Italian Theater" 2015 edition, will lead a cast made up of great performers: Francesco Manetti, Monica Piseddu, Lino Musella, Valentina Acca, Michelangelo Dalisi, Francesco Villano , Giuseppe Lanino, Leandro Amato, Maurizio Rippa, Alessandra Borgia, Annibale Pavone and Emilio Vacca.
In the comedy the protagonist Luca Cupiello tries to gather his family around the crib (symbol par excellence of the holy family), but the vicissitudes that follow one another highlight its failure. No member can hide his drama, no one can return to rejoice as when he was a child and he saw his father constructing the crib, only Luke seems to be unaware of the suffering of those around him.
A comedy with a subtle humor, sometimes nostalgic but well interpreted by the actors.
