In the last hours the temperatures in Campania they dropped dramatically and snowfalls occurred at low altitudes in some places in the region. This is what happened to Positano and Sorrento, the two towns of the Amalfi and Sorrento coasts saw each other during the night cover with snow, in short, a truly exceptional event.
Carnival under the snow in Sorrento
Inhabitants and tourists of the town of the Sorrento peninsula were amazed by the beautiful image that they found themselves admiring after their awakening. Indeed, in the course of the night the snow covered a fluffy white mantle Piazza Tasso and Main course, giving a truly postcard image.
There were many photos and videos published on social media to immortalize the moment, the images were also broadcast by Tg3. The weather forecast announced cold temperatures even in the next few days, in short, the 2022 Carnival will be celebrated under the snow.
