Lucio Dalla di Jorit in Sorrento: the new great work of the street artist

The well-known artist Jorit has produced a new creation, this time in Sorrento , and it is a large mural dedicated to Lucio Dalla.

As always, it is a work that seems to come to life and that valorizes the great Bolognese artist who loved our land so much.

Lucio Dalla , let us remember, was a citizen of Sorrento and wrote the wonderful song "Caruso" while staying in the same hotel room where tenor Enrico Caruso had stayed many years earlier. It was from that very room that he drew the inspiration to write one of his masterpieces.

Where is the mural si Jorit

The work dedicated to Lucio Dalla is currently under construction on the wall of the Circumvesuviana station in Sorrento. It's located on the left side as you exit the station, and you can see it in the foreground of the cover photo we included at the beginning of this article, taken by photographer Paolo Ammendola.

Before creating the large face of Lucio Dalla, with the typical stripes on his face that characterise his works, Jorit had covered the wall with the verses of the song “Se io fossi un angelo”.
