No restrictions on vaccinated people in the red zone, unlimited Green Pass and school rules: what happens from 7 February

The premier Mario Draghi has signed a new decree which foresees changes concerning the duration of the Green Pass, simplification of anti-Covid rules 19, quarantine in schools and other rules concerning those vaccinated in the red areas.
In short, there is an air of change and the will to get out of this situation of restrictions for "An increasingly open Italy" as stated by Draghi himself. These decisions were made on the positive data coming from the continuation of the vaccination campaign.
The new rules will be in effect from the 7 February 2022.
The new rules at school
Starting from next Monday 7 February, changes will be implemented regarding the anti-Covid 19 rules in schools. In general the DAD will last 5 days instead of 10, in all schools of all levels, but only for the unvaccinated, except in the age group 0-5 years where the vaccine is not authorized.
Nursery school
In particular, the maternal, therefore for children from 0 to 5 years, we will resort to DAD:
- with 5 positive cases;
- distance learning will have a duration of 5 days.
Elementary schools
For primary school, and therefore for children aged 6 to 11, starting from the fifth case:
- we will use the DAD always 5 days, but only for those who have not had the second dose for less than 120 days, did not have the infection and not vaccinated.
Middle and high schools
For secondary school, therefore middle and high school for children aged 12 to 19:
- from the second case we will use the DAD for a total of 5 days;
- enabled only for the unvaccinated.
All unvaccinated people who return from the DAD after 5 days will have to carry out a negative swab. In case of symptoms, the swab must be carried out by everyone.
Unlimited Green Pass with 3 doses
As for the green certification, that is the Green pass, the control room established the unlimited duration of the latter for all subjects who underwent the third dose of the vaccine.
The rule is also valid for those who, after the two doses of the vaccine, had Covid and it is healed. You will be like this from the date of recovery and no further booster doses will be needed.
This because there are still no answers on a possible fourth dose, therefore, the Green Pass of those who have already done the third dose would no longer be valid at the deadline which, for many, will already take place in March.
Red zone: restrictions for the unvaccinated
All restrictions in red zone, after the approval of this new decree, they will be valid and must be respected only by unvaccinated people.
Therefore, the vaccinated will be able leave the municipality of residence even without the justification of the reasons of work, necessity, urgency and they can also access various services and activities and services including restaurants e shops.
Tourists arriving in Italy
All tourists who come to Italy from countries that have rules from those of our country and therefore without Super Green Pass, or maybe they have different vaccines from ours, such as Russian or Chinese, or Europeans that have a different time validity, will be able to access all the activities and accommodation facilities by carrying out a buffer.
