White night in Salerno: the traffic plan between bans and closed roads

The 9 and 10 July 2022 takes place white night in Salerno with two rich evenings of events, concerts and shows.

For the occasion, the subway will carry out the extended service with extraordinary runs, but a temporary traffic plan to ensure the smooth running of all events.

The Municipality of Salerno has communicated all prohibitions, roads closed and the rules to be respected in the two days.

The prohibitions

Here are the following:

  • no parking and stoppinga with forced removal in Piazza Monsignor Grasso and via Madonna di Fatima (section between Via Ventimiglia and Via F. Gaeta);
  • ban from 7 am on 9 July to 5 am on 10 July;

There will also be no parking and stopping with forced removal from 7 am on 9 July to 5 am on 10 July e ban from 17 pm on 9 July to 5 am on 10 July in:

  • Via Fiume (Eastern side of the section between Via Picenza and Via Ceruso);
  • Via Trento (including side carriageway);
  • Via B. Garofalo;
  • Via Olivieri;
  • Liberty Square; 
  • Via Raffaele Mauri (stretch between Via Vacca and Via Garofalo)
  • Piazza Caduti Civili of Brescia, 
  • Via Posidonia (section Via Trento-Via Pietro del Pezzo), 
  • Via Ventimiglia (stretch of Piazza Caduti di Brescia - Lungomare Colombo), 
  • Via Madonna di Fatima (stretch between Via F. Gaeta and Via VI Settembre), 
  • Via VI September 1860;
  • Via Settembrini (section adjacent to Villa Carara);
  • Gian Camillo Gloriosi Square 
  • parking under the square Gian Camillo Gloriosi in entry and exit;
  • Piazza A. Santelmo; 
  • Via Roberto Santamaria up to Via V. Bello 
  • Via Germano Ricciardi.

They will also be all roads were closed to traffic at the entry points on the arteries involved in the white night.

The obligations for heavy vehicles

From 7 am on 9 July the buses and the means of capacity greater than 35 quintals arriving from the outskirts to the Arbostella Park roundabout will have to go to Via Raffaele Mauri and the following. Instead, cars and motorcycles can pass through Via Fiume.

In addition, from 7 to 17 on 9 July, the means of public transport arriving from the will have to follow this route:

  • Via Raffaele Mauri;
  • Via Luigi Angrisani;
  • Via Limongelli;
  • Via Smaldone;
  • Via Vito Lembo;
  • Via Trento and following.
