An exhibition dedicated to Totò in the Piazza Garibaldi station with dozens of works by international artists and poets!

In the new commercial gallery of the Piazza Garibaldi station in Naples it is now possible to meet Toto: the Prince of Laughter, in fact, was honored by one exhibition-tribute at the exit of the metro.

The exhibition, entitled "Rice nourishes the body and the spirit”Was set up thanks to the collaboration of 16 visual artists and 12 poets of international fame who have interpreted in a personal way the expressions, thoughts and gestures of Antonio De Curtis. The tributes were imprinted on double-sided signs, similar to the road signs, each of 90 cm in diameter.

The idea came from Lamberto Carreggiari and was initially intended for the Milan Expo. From the 24 March and up to the 29 April 2016, citizens and tourists who will get off the train and then head towards the station exit will be able to admire drawings, poems, phrases and tributes dedicated to Totò and his art.

The exhibition, in fact, consists of three installations because, in addition to that of the station, two more twins have been prepared a Piazza Municipio and in Health, Totò's birth district.
Recall that in the station is still present the nice and colorful exhibition with the giant snails.

The event is in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Municipality of Naples and Grandi Stazioni - Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato.
