Exhibition for Totò in Naples with paintings created with thousands of caps

At the Hotel Mediterraneo in Naples, an exhibition with paintings dedicated to Totò made with thousands of recycled caps!
In honor of the 50 years after Totò's disappearance, among the many events that Naples is paying our prince of laughter, there will also be one original exhibition at the Hotel Mediterraneo with all works made with caps of recycled metal.
The exhibition, entitled T'Appost, will be open to visitors from 11 May to 30 June 2017 and is inserted in the May program of Monuments.
This is the personal experience of Luigi Masecchia, an expert in this type of work, which among his works for a total of more than a million caps, could not avoid also representing Totò. In fact, some paintings are gods close-ups of Antonio De Curtis, created with thousands of metal caps that, with their colors, manage to form its own characteristic figure.
The artist made use of the help of children with disabilities or who live in difficult situations to work the corks and create the works.
In the exhibition there will also be other works, 10 in total, and Luigi Masecchia gives great importance to the link between culture and integration and between good drinking and creativity. And from good drinking you can also get the caps of the bottles which then give life to real works of art.
The vernissage will take place on 11 May at 18.00 pm with the presence of the artist.
