THEOpen Makers Day 2014 is the event dedicated to all fans and professionals of electronics and information technology, but also just simply to the creative and curious.
It is the largest event in Southern Italy on2.0 crafts and takes place the 16 June 2014 at the Parthenope University of Naples. The day will be entirely dedicated to making, design, electronics and information technology.
Anyone can participate, the only requirement will be to have sufficient curiosity and interest. Everyone will be able to exhibit their creations and inventions and attend all scheduled meetings.
The main purpose of the Open Makers Day is to support and spread the philosophy of making and dell'open source and, therefore, the advantages of free software.
The headquarters provides space for anyone who wants to set up their own stand or is interested in holding a talk to present their own project.
The event is aimed above all at those who are interested in innovation and was organized by the associations Open Makers Italy, Google Developers Group Campania and UDU Napoli, with the collaboration of OSL Uniparthenope with the patronage of the University of Naples Parthenope. Furthermore, it is part of the event June Youth.
Therefore, an event entirely dedicated to self-design and self-realization, an opportunity to create new technological objects and spread new useful ideas.
