On the occasion of the world event "The Hour of the Earth", Naples and the world will turn off the lights in a day full of events!
Also this year the appointment with "Time of the Earth", the universal mobilization which, Saturday 28 March 2015, will see Napoli and all the cities of the world turn the lights off for an hour, from 20: 30 to 21: 30.
The huge initiative, edited by WWF, was born in 2007 in Australia as a symbol of the fight against climate change and to support energy saving, the main scourges that nowadays endanger the planet and the wellbeing of its inhabitants.
Over time "Earth Hour" has assumed global characters involving more and more countries, including Italy. And Naples will not be outdone, in fact for the occasion in the city will be prepared numerous initiatives starting from the hour of darkness that will see the Maschio Angioino, the Royal Palace, Piazza Dante and Piazza del Plebiscito.
Moreover, the whole day of Saturday will be dedicated to many theme events that will involve the Neapolitans in interesting laboratories and activities dedicated to solar energy; while in the evening, after the general darkness, the city will rekindle with many shows, art, culture and music.

2015 Earth Hour events program in Naples
- Switch off the Maschio Angioino and Piazza Plebiscito
- Turning off the lights on the façade of the National Boarding School at Piazza Dante. During the day by WWF and ANEA there will be various workshops and then in the evening there will be street art and music performances.
