The picturesque town of Cilento prepares to host the first edition of Paestum Pizza Fest, a festival celebrating pizza, from 30 June to 2 July 2023. The event will take place at the Next – Former Tobacconist Borgo di Cafasso, a place full of history and charm. A total of 24 local and non-local pizzerias, will participate in the event, enriched by training laboratories e evening entertainment.
Enhance the art of pizza in the Cilento context
Promoted by Jannelli Events e Erre Erre Events, the festival aims to enhance the white art of pizza, one of the excellences of Campania, in the wonderful context of Cilento. “NEXT is preparing to welcome another major event, confirming itself as a regional reference trade fair pole…” declared the Mayor of Capaccio, Franco Alfieri.
Roberto Iannelli, one of the organizers of the festival, underlines the importance of the four key points that have guided the creation of an ambitious project such as the Paestum Pizza Fest: sustainability, sharing, territory and inclusiveness.
Lots of activities and events
The festival offers a wide range of training activities need Entertainment, making the event dynamic and interactive. These include workshops, pizza maker success stories, and international guests.
Environmentally friendly, the Paestum Pizza Fest it will be an event Plastic Free. Each participant will receive a “Pizza Fest Kit”, a biodegradable bag containing everything you need to enjoy the event while fully respecting the environment.
The program, concerts to enliven the evenings
The Paestum Pizza Fest will take place from 30 June to 2 July 2023 at the Next – Former tobacco factory in Capaccio/Paestum. Three evenings of fun, culture and, of course, excellent pizzas. But not only that, music will play a leading role:
- June 30 2023: The party opens with a performance by Tony Tammaro. The well-known Neapolitan singer-songwriter will make the audience vibrate with his ironic and engaging music.
- July 1 2023: The second day will be enlivened by the talent of Ivan Granatino. His 2023 live tour will stop at Pizza Fest, offering unforgettable emotions and melodies.
- July 2 2023: The last evening will be on the notes of Rosario Miraggio. With his Live Tour 2023, he will close the festival with a grand finale.
Each evening will be enriched by live performances by young emerging artists, ensuring a mix of music and entertainment. Three unmissable concerts in a unique location and at a affordable price of only €15!
