At the Teatro Bellini there will be a live Passion with the songs of the film and a tribute to Pino Daniele
Il 15 October 2015, il Teatro Bellini of Naples will host the show Live passion, born from an idea of John Turturro, with an exceptional cast, including artists James Senese with Napoli Centrale, Raiz & Almamegretta, the scratchy Montecorvino Stone, M'Barka Ben Taleb with her sensual oriental voice.
The theatrical show was defined as "A new Buena Vista Social Club", that "It breaks your heart and sends you into ecstasy".
The representation, mixed with a concert, is taken from the film Passion, directed by John Turturro, a sort of journey into the heart of the music of Naples, in a new and original musical and scenic look, thanks to the musical direction of Luigi De Rienzo.
The artists will perform alternating, proposing the most beautiful classics of the Neapolitan song and contemporary hits, in a partnership between tradition and contemporary artistic creativity. This 2015 edition of Live passion it will also make a dutiful homage to the music of Pino Daniele.
