Piazza Garibaldi: from today changes to the traffic of the area for pedestrians and motorists

Since 6 a.m. this morning, traffic in Piazza Garibaldi has been altered due to expansion work at the Grandi Stazioni construction site for the construction of a new parking lot.

The change will eliminate the central pedestrian path in the square and relocate the ANM bus terminal from the area beneath the Hotel Cavour. Pedestrians who need to take the bus will be able to use the new pedestrian crossing in front of McDonald's and walk on the sidewalk to the right of the central station (with the station at their back).

Regarding vehicle traffic, those coming from Corso Lucci and need to go to Corso Umberto I must head towards Corso Novara, turn left and enter Via Milano and then turn left again.

For those coming from Corso Umberto by car and needing to head towards Corso Novara, they must drive along the entire square until the left turn near the station area.

Agents of the municipal police will patrol Piazza Garibaldi from today to give information to pedestrians and vehicles on the new rules of traffic in the area.
