From the 1 September 2021 il Green Pass will also be mandatory for travel on long-distance trains, ships, ferries and airplanes and the audience of those who are against Green Certification is organizing for protest against this measure.

In fact, on the very first day this measure comes into effect, the opponents of the Green Pass, which includes both the so-called no-vax and the vaccinated, will block the stations of 54 Italian cities, including also Napoli in Piazza Garibaldi.

Opponents organized themselves through a Telegram group called “Enough dictatorship” stating: “Don't they let us leave on the train without a slavery passport? Then no one will leave".

Meanwhile, yesterday there were the first protests in Milan and Rome, even with some clashes with the police.

Traffic inconveniences for trains, metro and vehicles

Of course, this protest will create a lot of inconvenience to travelers and commuters. Who will protest will meet in Piazza Garibaldi and in the nearby Piazza Mancini to block all the trains of that day. The appointment will be at 14.30 outside the station, while at 15.00 they will enter to stay until evening.

The movement professes to be peaceful and organized by self-managed people and the aim is to stop anyone who wants to leave because the so-called "slavery passport", as the Green Pass is called, would be against constitutional freedoms.

From Piazza Garibaldi in Naples dozens of trains leave every day, as we know, and the station is also an interchange with the meter line 1, meter line 2 , Circumvesuviana. From here, in fact, you can also take local trains, on which we remember you can also get on without the Green Pass, but considering the unrest that could arise in the station, there could also be problems for these means of transport.

The inconvenience on the road for vehicles

If the group of opponents of the Green Pass is large, there could also be inconveniences to the circulation of vehicles on the road in the Piazza Garibaldi area because there may be difficulties in getting around. As a result, traffic may also arise in neighboring areas.
