More expensive ferries and hydrofoils to Ischia, Capri and Procida: here are the new prices

Bad news for travelers using sea transport because these days prices will increase for ferries and hydrofoils to Procida, Ischia and Capri.

Going to the islands of the Gulf of Naples, and returning, will cost more because of the expensive-fuel which, as we know, has been driving up the price of gasoline for several months, despite the temporary "discounts" that the government is putting in place.

The price increases that will be implemented on the ticket prices for the islands have been confirmed by a decree of the Campania Region which gave the green light to the shipping companies for the increase.

How much will the tickets increase?

The price of tickets for Ischia, Capri and Procida will increase by 5% both for hydrofoil races, which are the fastest means, and for ship races.

Here are the details:

the price for Ischia by hydrofoil will be 20,20 euros instead of 19,20 euros;
going to Ischia by ship will cost 13 euros, instead of 12,40 euros;
going to Procida will cost 15,20 euros, instead of 14,50 euros;
from Naples to Capri by hydrofoil the price will be 20 euros, instead of 19,00
from Naples to Capri by ferry will cost 12,90 euros, instead of 12,30 euros.

Caremar's lowest rates

The company Caremar communicated that, receiving regional funding, will keep prices lower compared to other shipping companies. Prices, of course, will change according to the routes and will be as follows:

from the port of Pozzuoli to Ischia by ferry the price will be 12,60 euros, instead of 12 euros;
from Pozzuoli to Procida, the price will be 8,30 euros, instead of 7,90 euros;
by hydrofoil from Molo Beverello in Naples to Ischia the ticket will cost 21,40 euros, instead of 20,40.

When will the increases take effect

Ticket prices will start in the next few days and time of adjustment will be different between the various companies navigation. In any case, the times will be short.
