Il Pizza Festival opens to Vulcano Buono from Nola dal 30st May to June 9, 2013. Now in its fourth edition, the gastronomic event celebrates the goodness of a local excellence, the result of an ancient culinary art. The most renowned pizza masters of Napoli and the province.
For eleven days in a row, gourmands and pizza lovers will be able to make a good snack taking advantage of dedicated menu, which offers the price of 8 € a baked or fried pizza, a drink of your choice, a coffee and a dessert. By adding 2 euro, and therefore to the total price of 10 euros, you can also enjoy the Cuoppo Italian-style mixed fritturine, with crocchè, zeppoline and scaiuzzielli (can also be purchased individually at a cost of 2 euros).
The Pizza Festival will not only pay homage to the joys of the palate, but will keep you company for the duration of your stay through the organization of races with prizes. Among these that of 'Una Signora Pizza', a competition in which 20 ladies compete for the preparation of the best fantasy pizza, and the artistic competition that will decide the best drawings and photographs taken by the boys of the lower middle schools in the area. There will be no musical performances and cabaret.
