Concert of the Epiphany 2019 at the Mediterranean Theater of Naples
On Friday 4 January at 20.30 pm, at the Mediterranean Theater of the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples, the Epiphany 2019 Concert will take place. This is the 6th edition of this traditional musical event that this year will offer the opportunity to listen to the violinist Alessandra Sonia Romano who will perform the theme of the Schindler's list soundtrack playing a violin that was part of one of the many musical groups of the Birkenau concentration camp in Auschwitz. This instrument, in fact, belonged to Eva Maria Levi, who on December 1943, 5 took it away with her while it was being taken to the concentration camp. The violin was recovered by his brother Enzo, among the 243 survivors, out of XNUMX deportees of his convoy, comes from the Museo Civico di Cremona and was made available by the sensitivity of Carlo Alberto Carutti.

If you want to spend next January 6th in the name of Jazz music, then you can't miss the Epiphany 2019 Concert, entitled “Not only Christmas“, scheduled at the Castello di Baia. With "DamMI the LA Sound Project - Vocal Group", directed by Maestro Luigi Biondi for the Pozzuoli Jazz Festival in the Campi Flegrei, the concert "Non solo Natale" is a jazz reworking of the most famous Christmas songs alternating with popular culture songs , as well as obviously pieces belonging to the international jazz repertoire. All the pieces are arranged and elaborated in a modern key by Maestro Luigi Biondi, who will alternate at the piano with Anaclerio Vincenzo, a student of “Dammi il La Accademy”.
