Galleria Principe di Napoli, opens a literary café with the first free widespread library

At the Galleria Principe di Napoli, right in the heart of the city, the brand new is born Scotto Jonno, the literary café and first free public library. A completely new project that aims to support initiatives such as the Bookcrossing and suspended book for all lovers of reading and culture.

Luca Iannuzzi, sole director of Tesoreria srl ​​and director of ScottoJonno, he says he is enthusiastic about the new project here her words:

I have always thought that there is a need for real and virtual spaces where one navigates, we work to rebuild and preserve the fabric of memory and travel to infinity with reading

The new structure was born from the collaboration between Iannuzzi and Fondazione Guida alla Cultura and Guida Editori.

The new venue at the Galleria Principe

As a result of the company's participation in the program Common Gallery, the premises to be assigned to have been decided Scotto Jonno, which then thanks to the entrepreneur Luke Iannuzzi, have undergone recovery and restructuring.

Specifically, they are three floors on which the project will develop:

  • 110 m² intended for the display of books and objects
  • 60 m² dedicated to thematic areas of administration
  • 197 m² intended for services, publishing, offices and infopoints, playrooms, common reading areas, cafeterias and restaurants

Currently, they are exhibited in the library already thousands of volumes, which have been made available by various users. All visitors through an application will be able to consult the entire collection of books. The structure will be open every day, except Tuesdays, from 08:45 to 00:00.
