Saturday 21 January 2023 at 12:00 at the Galleria del Principe in Naples, the special and fun appointment with BookMob – Let's exchange a book, an event organized by Linbrincircolo – BookMob, a Neapolitan cultural association.
The objective of this appointment, which has been taking place for many years in Naples, is to di dust off old books e give them a second life, in short, it is a free sharing of books, open to everyone, not just to those who are passionate about reading.
Like every year, this year too the organization has chosen a theme, namely La Ciorta. All participants will then have to wrap their own book according to the chosen theme and bring it with them.
The rules for participating in the Book Mob in Naples
The rules for participating in the Book Mob in Naples are simple and within everyone's reach. In particular, you will have to choose a book you have at home and what do you want to give, wrap it according to the chosen theme. Arrive at the meeting place on time and off exchange your package with that of another one totally at random.
It will be formed a big circle, be careful not to have anyone in front of or behind you, and once the start has been given everyone will have to exchange their book with the partner who is to the left and he will take the package that will be delivered to him by his partner on his right. The books will scroll inside the circle clockwise and randomly.
Once the seconds necessary for the exchange are over, everyone will find a book different from their own in their hands. If anyone will find themselves with two books he will give one to those who are left without who can position himself in the center of the circle and wait.
If you want then, you can bring even more than a book to be left in the center of the circle, at the end of the BookMob there will be a countdown timer and whoever arrives first in the center of the human circle will be able to take the bonus books.
