Procida Capitale, shows and 12-metre work by Amanda Parer for the final event

Procida, as we well remember, managed to obtain the title of capital of culture. With its catchy slogan, culture does not isolate, Has launched a series of important events for all the 2022 and now is preparing to pass the title to the project Bergamo Brescia Italian Capital of Culture 2023.

Il 12 January 2023, at Marina Grande di Procida, will take place the final event of the cultural event with artists of national and international level.

The stage, in fact, will host some of the best musicians of the Italian jazz scene such as Stefano Di Battista e Nicky Nicolai, Fabrizio Bosso e Julian Oliver Mazzariello and other names like Francesco Di Bella, Giovanni Truppi, Giovanni Block. Plus, there will be some performance surprisingly impressive.

The event will begin at 17:00 with the eco-show where thanks to the Pedal stage, created by the band Têtes de Bois, the stage will be entirely powered from the public by bike (100 specially selected volunteers).

At 19.00 there will be the presentation of two works by the Australian artist Amanda Parry, one of which is well 12 meters. “Man” (inspired by Rodin's Thinker) and “Fantastic Planet (Over)” are two light installations that they will glow pink the Marina which will create a particularly suggestive atmosphere.

The event will also be broadcast live streaming on the Procida 2022 Facebook page. Finally, on January 18, at the Royal Palace of Naples, there will be the passing of the baton from Procida to Bergamo and Brescia.
