Il Museum and Real Bosco di Capodimonte andFriends of Capodimonte Association Ets, thanks to the support of Emiddio Mele Foundation, launch the eighth edition of Apples Project, a series of workshops focused on architecture, designed and curated by the Archipicchia Association! Architecture for children. This event, altogether price quotation for the young participants, it is aimed atchildren aged 6 and over and will take place in the spaces of Museum of Capodimonte dedicated to the collection of Mele Posters and in the vast prairies of the Wood.
What is it about
The core of the 2023 project is the Real Bosco di Capodimonte, from which a laboratory path unravels that takes its cue from Land Art, an art born around 1967 in the United States. But that's not all: issues related to environmental sustainability, the recycling of materials and the creative use of natural resources will also be addressed.
The Wood thus becomes the scene of ephemeral installations, destined to transform or disappear over time, traces of which will remain only in the documentation. Little architects will be guided along this path, stimulated in their imagination and creativity, to build an original itinerary of sustainability and trace an artistic and constructive path.

Land Art arrives in the Bosco di Capodimonte and offers us the opportunity to work on an installation of Wood Art. Discussing Land Art, landscape, construction and design, we will look for elements such as wood, leaves, fruits and seeds in the forest that will give life to an environmental sculpture.
Free participation with reservations required
Please confirm the booking for your children for the first meeting dedicated to Wood Art within Friday 12 May 2023, 15 pm, and wait for the response. The confirmation of participation will follow the chronological order of the requests received. The activities scheduled for the workshop on 14 May 2023 are suitable only for children between the ages of 9 and 11. I Parents or escorts will have to hand the children over to the operators at 10:45 at the meeting point of Porta Cccetto and will not be able to attend or participate in the activities. The workshop will end at 13:00. Please communicate any cancellations promptly, in order to allow other children to participate.
In case of Maltempo, the activity will be postponed to a date to be determined.
