At the Bellini Theater returns the show "Someone flew over the nest of the cuckoo" directed by Alessandro Gassmann on text by Maurizio De Giovanni and starring Daniele Russo.
From the 22 25 2018 March returns to the scene, al Bellini Theater of Naples, the show Someone flew over the cuckoo's nest, Directed by Alessandro Gassmann and back of a national success of four years of tour.
Someone flew over the cuckoo's nest is the theatrical transposition of the novel written by Ken Kesey in the 1963, which later became the famous film directed by Miloš Forman in the 1971, with an unforgettable Jack Nicholson in the role of the protagonist Randle McMurphy, a thug who pretends crazy to escape the prison.
This interesting and original scenic elaboration of Alessandro Gassmann, which makes use of the dramaturgy of Maurizio De Giovanni, carries the story in a dimension and in an age closest to us. The action takes place, in fact, in the psychiatric hospital of Aversa in the 1982, and Randle McMurphy has the name of here Dario Danise, interpreted by Daniele Russo.
The show deals with difficult issues, such as the illness, diversity, coercion, deprivation of liberty, which become signs of denunciation here ready to shake consciences, making us reflect on the methods of constraint and imposition adopted in the mental hospitals, on the repressive mechanisms of society and on relationship between individual and constituted Power.
