Raphael in Capodimonte in Naples, the exhibition on the artist's workshop

The wonderful Capodimonte Museum in Naples is ready to host a beautiful exhibition entitled: Raphael at the Capodimonte Museum: the artist's workshop.

From June 10th to September 13th - October 24th 2021 you will be able to admire the evocative exhibition dedicated to Raphael , one of the most important painters and architects of the Renaissance, and thus learn many curiosities and just as many secrets about the artist's wonderful works, which were restored in the Capodimonte laboratories.

If you're an art lover in general and want to discover curiosities and secrets about the wonderful works of the great artist Raphael Sanzio, then you can't miss the exhibition dedicated to him at the Capodimonte Museum in Naples .

The exhibition will allow you to learn about and gain a detailed understanding of the work of the artist and his workshop , thanks to the results obtained during the restoration of the works by Angela Cerasuolo , head of the Restoration Department of the Muse and Real Bosco di Capodimonte, and Andrea Zezza , professor of History of Modern Art at the Department of Literature and Cultural Heritage at the Luigi Vanvitelli University of Campania.

The restorations were carried out with diagnostic investigations , thanks to the use of special machinery, and were made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Museum with the CNR ISPC , the Institute of Cultural Heritage Sciences, the LNF-INFN, or the National Laboratories of the South, the CNR-SCITEC, Institute of Chemical Sciences and Technologies and finally the LAMS of Paris.

With the installation of multimedia tools, you can learn about the results of these investigations and gain an even deeper understanding of the artist's work. Reservations are recommended.
