Reopening and curfew: what changes from 1 June for yellow and white regions

From 1 June 2021 throughout Italy the rules are changing with regard to reopening and participation in sporting events and indoor shows, depending on whether the reference region is in the yellow or white area.
La Campania at the moment it is in yellow zone, so some of the rules that already apply in the white areas will be postponed by a few days, while others will be valid from 1 June for everyone.

Among the news we certainly have, after a long time, the reopening of restaurants and pubs indoors in addition to the slippage of curfew.

Here is the calendar of everything that will change from June onwards.

Restaurants reopen indoors

According to the DPCM, from 1 June you can go back to eating on the premises even while staying inside, both in the yellow regions both in those white.

There are no more time limits, if not the curfew at 23.00 pm. Of course, the safety regulations relating to the spacing between tables of 1 meter and the obligation to wear a mask when not at the table, while moving around the room, at the entrance and at the exit. There cannot be more than 4 at the table, unless you live together, even in the white zone.

The buffet lines, but the products must be delivered directly by the staff.

Consume coffee at the counter

With the beginning of June, in addition to being able to sit in the indoor halls of restaurants, pubs and other clubs, it is possible consume coffee directly at the counter of the bar in all Regions, without necessarily taking it away. You have to keep the distance of one meter with the other people and the entrances must be limited according to the size of the room.

At the bar you can also play cards, but with the mask and disinfecting the cards or replacing the deck if necessary.

Even in bars the rules of buffet lines, delivered directly from the staff.

The curfew

At the moment, the curfew remains unchanged at 23.00 pm, but from 21 June it should be eliminated, while from 7 June it will be moved to midnight throughout Italy.

The exception concerns the Regions located in white area where curfew is lifted from the moment of inclusion in this range.

Sporting events and shows in outdoor arenas

It will be possible to return to participate in sporting events, concerts and other shows in the arenas both outdoors and indoors respecting the rule of maximum occupancy of 25%. The outdoor events start from 1 June and provide for the participation of the public in all Regions and can accommodate a maximum of 1000 people, respecting the percentage of 25%.

Instead, the date on which it is allowed to welcome the public indoors depends on the presence in the yellow or white zone.

Weddings, theme parks, conferences, indoor events

White regions

In the white regions, from the moment of insertion in this range it is possible to organize weddings, reopen fairs, theme parks and participate in conferences and congresses. They also reopen indoor swimming pools, spas, arcades, bingo and casinos, as well as recreational and social centers. You can also participate in the indoor sporting events and live entertainment indoors. In this case, the maximum capacity, as mentioned, must not exceed 25%.

Yellow regions

In these regions, only from the 15 June they can resume weddings with ceremony, theme parks and congresses. Instead, from 21 June, as mentioned, the curfew is abolished, while from 1 July training courses restart, wellness centers, game rooms, indoor sporting events and indoor swimming pools reopen.
