Romeo and Juliet return to fall in love with a magical musical at the Palapartenope in Naples

The musical "Romeo and Juliet - Love and change the world“, Born from an idea of ​​Gérard Presgurvic, returns to Italy and will also stop in our city in the month of the festival of lovers.

The show will be staged at Palapartenope Theater in Naples from 4 to 8 February 2015 with the Italian direction of Giuliano Peparini, a young Italian director who has distinguished himself in the theater scene also for other productions. Lately he has directed “1789 - Les amants de la Bastille”, a show that has enjoyed considerable success in France, but which in the past has collaborated with other excellent artists, including Franco Dragone, creator of some Cirque du Soleil shows.

The musical about Romeo and Juliet, already presented in Naples last year, is certainly a big production with a cast full of performers. On stage they will go up 45 artists and over 30 dancers and acrobats who will wear as many as 200 costumes, but about fifty people will work behind the scenes to ensure the functioning of the enormous set-up that will be put up.

In the role of the two protagonists we will find the revelation Davide Merlini, distinguished for his talent in the 2012 edition of X-Factor, and Giulia Luzi, a young actress and singer who came to the fore for her roles in some TV dramas. Of course, there will be all the other characters in the well-known Shakespearean drama, interpreted by a carefully chosen cast of actors.

"Romeo and Juliet" has enjoyed great international success thanks to the Zard production, which has also decided to invest in Italy and bring the enchanting atmospheres and music of this show to our country, giving it a less classic look, but still reviving the public the magic of most famous love story of all time.
