Tastings, markets and entertainment at the Squille asparagus festival.
On 23, 24, 25 April and 1 May 2016, in Squille, fraction of the municipality of Castel Campagnano, province of Caserta, there will be the asparagus festival.
The event will propose the tasting of local dishes based on asparagus, which is a vegetable rich in beneficial properties and promotes diuresis. To enhance the flavors of the dishes will be served Pallagrello wine, produced in an autochthonous vine of the area and is one of the few to have red and white berries. For this reason it has always been considered a regal and precious wine, reserved for important occasions.
To complete the festive atmosphere there will be music, Latin American and popular dances, stand of typical artisan and food and wine products.
In addition, you can also visit the village where they were found precious archaeological finds dating back to Roman times.
