At the 2017 boar and chestnut festival in San Potito Ultra, typical dishes, guided tours and ecological walks!

From 13 to 15 October 2017 to San Potito Ultra, in the province of Avellino, will take place the traditional Wild Boar and Chestnut Festival.

During the festival you can taste typical dishes based on wild boar and chestnuts, with the traditional embers of pork and wild boar based on sausages, cotechini and ribs, scialatielli with wild boar sauce, scialatielli sausages and pumpkin, the traditional chestnut and bean soup, the traditional chestnuts and chestnut-based desserts including the famous guiness trunks.

The tasty dishes will be accompanied by excellent wine with the background of good music. Furthermore, you can make some guided tours to admire the artistic beauties of the town including the museum and its churches or you can visit the dairy laboratory Damiano, the apiculture company and the Nazzaro Fruits that deals with the processing of chestnuts.

Relaxants will also be organized ecological walks in the country paths of the town, to discover the beauty of the Irpinia countryside in autumn. They will not miss being with the exhibition and sale of artisan products.
