Popular music, walks and many handicrafts in San Potito Ultra with the Chestnut and Wild Boar Festival 2016!
Another very tasty event attracts gourmands in the Avellino area: it is the Chestnut and Boar Festival a San Potito Ultra, a short distance from the Campania capital. The appointment is for 14, 15 and 16 October 2016.
As with any self-respecting festival, there will be many specialties of the territory of Irpinia to taste. You can have fun with good folk music and participate in the ecological walks for the country's country trails. Furthermore, it will be possible to visit the small village with its churches and the museum.
Anyone who wants, can also find out, by reservation, how the dairy laboratory, Nazzaro Fruits, specialized in the processing of chestnuts, and the company of apiculture.
The food stands will offer typical products for all tastes: dishes based on wild boar and chestnuts, embers of sausages and cotechini, chestnut and bean soup, pumpkin and sausage pappardelle or wild boar sauce, chestnut based sweets and roast chestnuts.
There will be a Guinness trunk and some good local wine.
