Enogastronomy, stands and entertainment at the Montella chestnut festival 2016!
From the 4 to 6 2016 November in the green heart of Irpinia will take place the Chestnut Festival of Montella PGI.
The Montella chestnut has always been the flagship of Irpinia agro-food production, thanks to its nutritional properties and cultivation techniques without chemical herbicides.
Numerous will be set up during the event food stands where you can taste typical products such as the classic panzerotti, the damselfish, the cannoli with chestnut cream and chocolate, accompanied by the excellent local wine.
You can also visit the Chestnut Museum, unique in its genre, where with the digital support and sensorial paths we will know the history and the chestnut tradition that has crossed the national borders giving rise to a profitable economic activity.
The event is an important opportunity to discover the tourist beauties, naturalistic, cultural, productive and gastronomic in the country.
