Tastings, music and fun at the 'A Patana' Festival and 2017 Night in San Vitaliano!
Saturday 8 July 2017 in San Vitaliano, a town in the Neapolitan hinterland, will take place the festival "A Patana 'e Notte".
The queen of the event will be the potato, an excellent agricultural product cultivated in all the neighboring municipalities of the Agro-Nolano since ancient times. A poor food, but rich in beneficial organoleptic properties, which thanks to its versatility lends itself to the preparation of many dishes.
The menu, made with ancient and traditional recipes, Will offer mouth-watering dishes, including le baked new potatoes, potato gateaux, the sublime potato parmigiana, the omelette of potatoes and onions.
The event will be the means by which to spread the potato culture and education towards good food. In addition, stands dedicated to excellence of the territory, there will be inflatables for children, the music of DJ Cico.
The proceeds from the evening will go to the “Intervene Now” campaign in support of the restoration of the extermination camps of Auschwitz and Birkenau.
