The festival of the 2017 festivals is back in Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi for the enhancement of local traditions among enogastronomy, guided tours and lots of music.
Will be held from the 10 12 2017 November the seventeenth edition of the Festival of festivals in downtown Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi.
The organization is organized by the Pro Loco "Alta Irpinia - Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi" which conceived the event not as a simple festival that revolves only around local gastronomy, but as a sort of review of all the festivals of Irpinia and therefore a showcase of tourism in inland areas.
The festival will be held in the historical center of the village and he wants enhance the strengths of the Irpinia traditionand at our food and wine products to craftsmanship up to popular traditions. They will therefore be held Taste Workshops where you can taste the famous dairy products, i hams and sausages of the area, the honey, biscuits, taralli and the bread cooked in wood, chestnuts, truffles, mushrooms, oil and wines, meetings and conferences will also be organized.
The organization has planned guided tours to all the typical sites of Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi, like the Cathedral with the ancient Crypt, the Historical Center, the Longobard Castle and a shuttle service will be organized that will connect the center with the Abbey of the Goleto.
Not only gastronomy and tourism but also folk and ethnic music, animation for children, street performers, songs and dances typical of the highland farming tradition that will make and frame the event.
