The 2017 King Sausage Festival arrives in Casapulla: two evenings dedicated to tradition between music, gastronomy and craftsmanship!

Another event for Campania gourmets: the 16 and 17 September 2017 there will be the Feast of the King's sausage in Casapulla, in the province of Caserta. The event celebrates i traditional flavors, with two evenings of fun between music and entertainment.

Protagonist of the festival is a type of sausage prepared according to an ancient recipe. Legend has it that Ferdinand IV of Bourbon, while visiting Casapulla, he tasted this meat defining it as “worthy of a king”.

Alongside the food stands, space will be given toCampania handicraft: the typical musical instruments of the region will be on sale tammorre, castagnole, triccheballacche and tambourines, all strictly handmade. The event will be attended by many sponsors and the MBA Micro Brewery, which will propose its own homemade beers.

The little ones can have fun with them games of the past, while the animation for the older ones is entrusted to artists of the folk music. Calatia will perform on Saturday, while on Sunday Gerardo Amarante and Spaccapaese will go on stage with the maestro Marcello Colasurdo.
