The Summer Truffle Market Exhibition will be held in Bagnoli Irpino with two competitions and many specialties. The festival will take place on 1 and 2 June 2014
Also this year, the locality of Bagnoli Irpino, in the province of Avellino, is preparing to host the festival dedicated to one of the most widespread and loved products of its lands: the black summer truffle.
The Summer Truffle Market Exhibition is an unmissable event for all lovers of this particular dish, but also for those who want to discover it for the first time.
In addition to the usual tastings of the product and the many recipes that will be prepared and offered, including the most risky and originali, at the festival will also be organized some very funny events. First of all, a competition will be organized between the streets of the historic center of Bagnoli Irpino best truffle dog. In addition, we will also compete in the competition to find the largest truffle.
The program, however, does not end here because, as every year, you can also participate in an incredible challenge: the creation of the sweet truffle largest in the world. Every year, the record is beaten and the winner enters the Guinness ranking of records. At the end of the challenge, the cake will be divided and distributed to all the participants.
