The traditional appointment with the Market Exhibition of the Black Truffle of Bagnoli and Typical Products of Laceno and with the forty-fourth edition of Chestnut and Truffle Festival in Bagnoli Irpino, a town in the province of Avellino.
It is therefore a completely autumn event that will take place over two weekends, in particular, on 20, 21, 22 and 27, 28 and 29 October 2023. Guests, especially lovers of flavors and fruits belonging to the autumn season, will be able to taste the various typical products and stroll in the historic center of the city.
In fact, among the objectives of this festival, there is the desire to make known the heart of the historic center of the village in the province of Avellino, between churches and works of art, and obviously enhance the products of the Bagnolese-Laceno District. Music and entertainment are also on the program.
What to eat at the party
At the festival "Il nero di Bagnoli" you can taste the best of the local production, including truffles, roasted chestnuts, the hanged caciocavallo, homemade pasta, porcini mushrooms, spit-roasted veal and much more. Obviously, at the center of the event there will be the Black of Bagnoli, Or the black truffle, typical product of this place.
This truffle is characterized by a black rind and unlike the others, it can stand the heat and therefore goes very well with long cooking recipe, such as stews, roasts. Very often it is found combined with butter and sage ravioli or in oil, preserved in glass jars.
