The sixth edition of San Gennaro Day will be held at the Cathedral of Naples and will see the presence of several guests who represent the best of the city of Naples.

Very little is missing San Gennaro Day 2018. The sixth edition of the event will be held Monday 24 September in the churchyard of the Cathedral of Naples. It will be a secular evening dedicated to tradition and entertainment, with several guests who in recent years have given prestige to the Neapolitan city.

The prodigy of the patron saint will be honored by various excellences in the worlds of music, culture and entrepreneurship. The initiative was organized by the association Jesce Sole, with the support ofDepartment of Culture of the Municipality of Naples. The evening is part of the event September More, a set of events that characterize Naples for the month of September. The artistic direction will be handled by the television and radio host Gianni Simioli, which announced several prominent guests. Among these, the journalist must be reported Franca Leosini, the rapper Luché, Writer Luciano De Crescenzo, the actor from Gomorrah Salvatore Esposito, singer Tony Tammaro, the showman Biagio Izzo and the actor and director Mimmo Borrelli.

One of the highlights of the evening will be the special prize in the name of Bud Spencer, authentic symbol of Neapolitan culture. Furthermore, it will be given prominence to the San Gennaro Art, with five works by the artists of Naples that will be exhibited in places very important for local food to ensure maximum visibility to authentic hidden treasures.
