The Castel dell'Ovo will enchant Neapolitan lovers, with a particular narrated visit dedicated to love and Virgil!
For the Night of Lovers 2015, also Castel dell'Ovo, one of the most famous symbols of Naples, will join the long program of events to celebrate the Valentine's day.
The evening of 14 February 2015, the majestic castle will be teatro de "The Night of Virgil", a splendid guided tour to discover the great Latin writer and his indissoluble link with the city.
The participants will be transported on a romantic narrated journey, which will tell about love. The love that Virgil felt for Naples and the passions and the love stories classic, the most poignant and full of allegorical meanings, protagonists of the poet's writings and set right in the city of Naples.
An interesting initiative to celebrate a character particularly fond of the capital and its beauties. It is no coincidence that legend has it that it was Virgilio who arranged a magic egg in the basement of Castel dell'Ovo, whose breakage would have caused the collapse of the building and numerous misfortunes in the city.
Until today the legendary egg has never been found and the mystery that hovers around it and the historic structure becomes more and more dense and fascinating, stimulating the curiosity of citizens and tourists.
