At Christmas 2016 the Santa Claus Village returns to the Mostra d'Oltremare, a Santa Claus Village with elves and many activities!

This year too, the Santa Claus Village will open its doors to visitors from Naples once again at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Fuorigrotta , after years of being organised at the Pineta Varca d'Oro.

Il Santa's Village, among the largest in the region, will make visitors live the magic of Christmas 19 from November to December 18 2016.
Like every year, a real Village will be recreated with numerous themed areas, a sort of city with Father Christmas and his elves, as well as many other small original inhabitants. This year there will be a 12 tall Christmas tree meters that the 26 November will be inaugurated.

Children and adults alike will have fun discovering how Santa Claus makes the toys he'll give away on the night of December 25th, as well as riding a fantastic sleigh and even converting their money into the village's currency. These are all unmissable and unforgettable activities, and the trail will be indoors.

This year's events include the fun-filled Muppet Show , the delightful Arctic Snowfall , and many hands-on workshops. Other new features include the Toy Museum, Elf School , and the Christmas Playground.

There will be a tour to attend to visit the whole village and it will last around 2 hours.

News

Among the news of the Village compared to other editions there will be new sets and characters, as well as shows, games and entertainment.

There will be a delicious Street Food area in the outdoor spaces, as well as a fun Luna Park , which will be freely accessible throughout the park's opening hours. Luna Park will feature a children's train, mini-cups, mini-tagadà, a mini-bar, a mini-wheel, a ghost train, a glass maze , and a shooting gallery.

There will also be some new, clumsy characters: Ciclone the Farting Walrus, Saal the Polar Bear, Gomitolino aka Gomi, the little Yeti – Storm, and the nimble Penguin. You can also vote for the cutest character in the Village.

On the weekend of 10 and 11 December, some stant typical Norcia products will be hosted in the street food area to help the town hit by the earthquake.

We remind you that this year there will also be a great novelty at Edenlandia with the Santa Claus Village.

Guided tours

This year's new features include the opportunity for tourists to book guided tours of San Gregorio Armeno, the historic center's traditional nativity scene street, as well as the Zoo and stops at Naples' partner pizzerias. Children can post their letters, remembering to stamp them, and Postini elves will get them to Santa.

To visit the Village you must have a passport and the Passport Office is the right place to get it. And remember, always keep it handy in case the Elves Police of Customs want to check it out!
