On April 26, 2024, OS CONF.AIL proclaimed one 4-hour national strike, from 18pm to 00pm, to denounce the precarious working conditions and economic difficulties of the TPL workers
Reasons for the strike
The strike was called to denounce the precarious working conditions and economic difficulties of the TPL workers. The workers are calling for better working conditions and a safer future for the TPL
The strike of April 26th in fact arose from a series of growing dissatisfaction related to national collective labor agreements (CCNL). OS CONF.AIL points the finger at it the increasingly disadvantageous conditions for workers in the local public transport sector from the point of view of safety at work and economic conditions.
The union highlights a sharp deterioration in the quality of work and a lack of sufficient guarantees for the safety of operators, with increasingly dilapidated trains and poor protection against violent and discontented users which takes out frustration on the staff.
