This weekend, Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April 2024, traffic will be interrupted on some sections of the Circumvesuviana due to important modernization works on the railway lines.
The routes Naples-Ottaviano-Sarno e Poggiomarino-Torre Annunziata will temporarily interrupted to install the new system Centralized Traffic Command (CTC). It is a system designed to significantly improve the regularity and efficiency of rail traffic.

Interruption of the Naples-Ottaviano-Sarno line
During And April 20 21 2024, the train service on Naples-Ottaviano-Sarno line will be completely suspended. During this period, it will be made available a replacement bus service managed by the company ROMAN BUS which will cover the entire route, ensuring continuity of connections between the cities involved.

Interruption of the Poggiomarino-Torre Annunziata section
Likewise, trafficking too Poggiomarino-Torre Annunziata it will not be operational on the same days. To ensure the transport of passengers, replacement buses from the same company will also be used on this line, ROMAN BUS, which will follow the usual train itineraries.
Operating trains and canceled ones
During working days, some trains will be cancelled, but extraordinary operations are also planned to minimize inconvenience.

- Saturday April 20th: The trains 4113 at 11am from Naples to Torre Annunziata e 4106 departing from Torre Annunziata at 11:08 will not be operational. On the other hand, an extraordinary train will be established, the 42044, which will depart from Torre Annunziata at 20pm, arriving in Naples Porta Nolana at 44pm.
- Sunday April 21: Trains will be cancelled 4106 (11: 08), 4148 (15pm), e 4178 (18pm) all departing from Torre Annunziata. However, weekday train departures will be guaranteed 4142 (14: 44), 4160 (16: 32), 4192 (19pm) and the extraordinary train will be available again 42044 departing at 20pm from Torre Annunziata and arriving in Naples Porta Nolana at 44pm.
