Naples also joins the European Week of Sustainable Mobility with many events in the city!
The Municipality of Naples has joined the 2015 European Sustainable Mobility Week, like every year. It will take place twigs 16 at the 22 September 2015 and will go hand in hand with a further initiative promoted by the European Commission, also dedicated to sustainable urban transport, entitled "Do The Right Mix".
The objectives to be pursued during this edition will be the promotion of activities that can be carried out throughout the year and the creation of a single large web platform aimed at promotion of sustainable urban mobility in Europe.
The slogan of the event is "Choose. Change. Combine ", that is, “Choose. Change. Combina "and that will try to raise awareness among European citizens, therefore also those of Naples, in adopting those modes of urban movement that involve less waste of time and money.
They will be proposed events and initiatives throughout Naples.
Sustainable Mobility Week Program
Metro Art Tour, free educational tours
The Metro Art Tour, on this occasion, will accompany you to the discovery of the new stations of the 1 Metro Line di Museum, Town Hall, Toledo and University through two free educational tours.

Bike to Work Contest
Until 18 September 2015, for the users of Bike Sharing Napoli, it will be possible to take part in a photographic contest and send by mail one photo riding the Bike Sharing Naples bike with your own work tool (e.g. the policeman with his own shovel) leaving a comment on the advantages of reaching his workplace by bike. The photos will be published on the Bike Sharing Napoli social channels. Among the participants will come select 5 photo and the winners will be given nice gadgets.

Visit to the Scudillo drinking water tank
Saturday 19 September 2015, will be the opportunity to go to the discovery of the secrets ofaqueduct of Naples through a educational path divided into thematic areas. It will be reached by bike and a picnic in an outdoor area for a packed lunch (to which everyone will provide independently). After, the ride will resume but this time on the streets of the Vomero. The itinerary also includes a visit to theurban garden of Scudillo.
One will be offered to the participants water bottle in steel with the vignette by Riccardo Marassi dedicated to the relationship between water and bike.

Intermodal Bike Tour
Il Bike Tour Scampia, proposed by Spaccanapolibike, is aimed at the discovery of realities and social and economic progress made possible thanks to the dedication of its citizens. We will visit the Corto Maltese Park, the Arci Scampia sports center, the Mammut Territorial Center and the Villa Comunale di Scampia. We will arrive at the Gridas Social Center where FeliMetrò will be presented. Expected tastings of gastronomic products at the ChiKù restaurant. During the Bike Tour some photographs will be taken which will be published in an album dedicated to Parthenopean Urban Cycling.

I Bike Naples, bike sightseeing tour
I Bike Naples is a project aimed at visiting and discovering the Naples artistic and natural beauties on two wheels, respecting the environment at the same time. Following a guide (Italian or English) you can visit the city in a about 3 hours tour.

WWF Pedestrian Route
Il WWF Naples offers citizens and tourists the opportunity to take part in a city pedestrian itinerary entirely dedicated to the city's history and city parks with the aim of sensitize society to pedestrianism and to discover the pedestrian paths and its parks, and at the same time to disseminate the knowledge of the wonderful cultural heritage of Naples. The visit is open to ideas and suggestions from citizens for the improvement of pedestrian mobility and the relative security of its citizens.
