The events in Naples for the 2016 European Sustainable Mobility Week with bike rides and other meetings!
Also this year the Municipality of Naples adheres to the European Sustainable Mobility Week, which will take place from the 16 to the 22 September 2016.
The project, promoted by the European Commission, aims to raise awareness among citizens on the importance of adopting habits that respect the environment in which we live, especially in the field of mobility.
The theme of this edition is "Smart and sustainable mobility - an investment for Europe" and focuses on the relationship between mobility and the local economy, as well as promoting the use of public transport as a source of savings, in economic terms, for all cities.
In Naples there will be a series of initiatives that will involve citizens in different ways.
European Week of Sustainable Mobility Program
Green Days at Vomero
In via Scarlatti, al Vomero there will be the penultimate appointment with the Green Days initiative with a traveling exhibition. These are days that are part of the annual week on European environmental policy and also invite the responsible consumption, energy saving and sustainable tourism.

Tour of Italy
An event promoted by Legambiente and VeloLove in collaboration with Euromobility and Fiab and which aims to promote cycling in the home-work section. It is also a challenge, among the Municipalities that adhere to the European Week of Sustainable Mobility, for the assignment of an award for the city that will have the highest number of workers who will use the bike.

Pedaling on the Lungomare
La Fiab, the Italian Federation of Friends of the Biciletta, will organize an evening bike ride on the Lungomare of Naples, for the initiative “A more livable city needs more cycle paths”. You will travel along the Lungomare cycle path, via Posillipo, Parco Virgiliano, Via del Marzano, Via Manzoni, Via Cilea, the Ztl of via Scarlatti and you will arrive in San Martino. Once in Vomero you will have a tasty break with pizza and ice cream.
