At Piccolo Bellini on stage "Some Girl (s)", a tragicomic show inspired by the delicate man-woman bond, through a journey into the past to remedy one's mistakes
At the theatre Little Bellini of Naples will go on stage, 28 from November to December 15 2013, Some Girl (s), a comedy written by one of the most acclaimed contemporary authors and directors, Neil LaBute.
The protagonist of the curious story is Guy, teacher and aspiring writer, a young man about to get married but that decides to go in search of their "ex", of all the women he has suffered, in a paradoxical attempt to put an end to the sense of guilt that is dragging on his sentimental path and to settle "The mess he has combined in his love life along the road to his own maturity".
The comedy, directed by Marcello Cotugno, is therefore a journey à rebours in the past of this kind of tragicomic "Adultescent", a man halfway between adolescence and adulthood, who lets emerge, at the same time, his fear of committing himself and taking on his own responsibilities, and a ruthless ambition. An attitude that led him to make mistakes and manipulate the women in his life.
In addition to the protagonist on stage also four actresses who interpret the women of Guy's life, plus a fifth that will be part of a “extra” content that can only be accessed online, after watching the show. Some Girl (s) it is, in fact, also a "multimedia" comedy which allows the viewer to attend an episode of the unpublished story that will deepen the sense of this drama that is based on the problematic relationship between man and woman.
Comedy makes us reflect on ephemeral nature of bonds and places the audience, who identifies with what is represented on stage and shares the emotions of the protagonist, of the questions that remain unresolved.
Also for this show a special event is planned at the Nea space in Piazza Bellini. November 26 at 18 it will be possible to meet the company and attend the presentation dthe Some Girl (s).
