Saturday 24 October 2015, historical center of Naples will be the protagonist of "Medieval Naples. The splendor of the "dark ages", the exceptional guided tour dedicated to the history of the city.

The event will immerse citizens and tourists on a journey through the most important early Christian basilicas Partenopee, such as San Severo, Santa Restituta with the baptistery of San Giovanni in Fonte and San Lorenzo.

Visitors will therefore be able to retrace the history of Naples from the late ancient age to the late Middle Ages, thus discovering masterpieces and works that are still little known, evidence of a rich era from a cultural and artistic point of view.

So starting from the monuments dating back to the early Christians in the city, we will arrive at the Neapolitan 300, whose protagonists were prestigious artists and intellectuals as Petrarch, Boccaccio, Tino da Camaino, Giotto, Simone Martini and many others.
