"Around" at the Bellini Theater, the first show in which a story is told with the hip hop language, spreading the messages of integration and multiculturalism
Exceptionally in the days And April 24 25 2015 al Bellini Theater of Naples, will go on stage Around, the first play in which a story is told with the hip hop language.
To involve the public in the rhythms of the street dance, the Italian crew of the Mnai's, one of the most innovative and heterogeneous in the world, winner of three consecutive editions of the Street Fighters World Tour.
Leit motiv of the show is the concept of integration and multi-racialism, a distinctive sign of the formation of this "family" of dancers. The story has as its protagonist a lost suitcase at the airport which reaches every corner of the world, encountering, in its wanderings, different cultures, races, customs, vices and virtues of countries and people. A joyful and painful journey, sometimes ironic, which is a metaphor for a journey that enriches and exorcizes the “fear of the different”, enhancing the culture of knowledge.
To "narrate" the story exclusively the body of 7 dancers and 3 dancers, on the notes of hip hop, street dance acrobatics, but also classical and contemporary dance, which come together in a common flow of storytelling. The spectator will be literally transported on this incredible tour of the world in dances also thanks to the innovative contribution of the digital video technology and to a complex system of projections and short films on movable wings.
