An evocative evening guided tour of the Solfatara, between science, culture and the unique experience of geothermal cuisine

The cultural association Curiocity proposes a fascinating evening guided visit to the Solfatara, the famous volcanic crater of Campi Flegrei in a quiescent state but characterized by a constant activity of sulfur dioxide fumaroles, jets of boiling mud and high soil temperature.

Sulfurea, this is the name of the particular tour to be held Saturday 22 November from 17, will involve the participants in a magical journey that will begin with the lights of the sunset which will make the atmosphere of the volcano even more suggestive. The route will mix culture, tradition and moments of pure fun in a whirlwind of sensations and emotions amplified by the white and colored artificial lights that will enhance the salient places of the Volcano, from the mud pit to the fumaroles of the big mouth.

During the guided tour of the Solfatara we will talk about religion, science and mythology, there will be a reading by Fabio Rossi, accompanied by the sound of a harmonica and the participants will be able to try the unique experience of Geothermal Kitchen and enjoy the fresh anchovy trays of the Tirreno steamed by a fumarole of the Volcano, accompanied by Falanghina dei Campi Flegrei.

Comfortable and closed shoes are recommended.
