Sunday March 19 2023 at 10:30 and at 12:00 at the marvelous Donnaregina Museum of Naples the special appointment will take place with the evocative shows of the Tableaux Vivants, Or the living pictures.
If you are therefore passionate about art and theater, this is the event for you, as you will be able to attend a wonderful show in which professional actors will compose on stage, right in front of your eyes, well 23 works by the great Caravaggio, in a show that will involve and excite everyone entitled The Conversion of a Horse.
The show will also be repeated in the months of April, May, June and July 2023.
Art and theater in a perfect union
Thanks to the Tableaux Vivants, Caravaggio's wonderful paintings will come to life. The various works will be composed only by actors' bodies, who will then make use of everyday objects, draped fabrics. A single beam of light will illuminate the scene on the notes of Mozart, Bach, Vivaldi and Sibellius, for a show of great emotional impact.
The actors who will exhibit at the Donnaregina Museum and who will give life to the works of Caravaggio are: Chiara Kija, Maria Giovanna La Greca, Elena Fattorusso, Andrea Fersula, Rocco Giordano, Fiorenzo Madonna, Alessio Sica, Antonio Stoccuto.
