In particular, the Festival will take place between the premises of Porto Petraio, a space located at Vomero reserved for the arts in general, and the church of S. Giuseppe delle Scalze. Tango, a term that perhaps derives from the Latin verb “tangere” (to touch), is an improvised dance, which includes music, dance, text and song. It is divided into several figures in which man guides, through the body language, the woman, girdling her back with her right hand while she follows him, in a passionate frontal hug.

Usually, the place where the tango is danced is the Milonga and even in Naples dancing evenings are often organised, especially outdoors and in summer. A special milonga was also dedicated to Papa Francesco for his birthday.
